Diamond Leads contains 56 classic vintage prog rock leads for Cherry Audio CA2600 plugin. All those synth presets are inspired by some of my favorite 70s progressive rock bands’ synthesizer sounds. Here you could find some classy rock melodic presets, some experimental and modulated sounds, some hard synced synths and some guitar-like leads.
Most of them are suitable for melodic lines but you could also find some presets with different characteristics that could add some peculiar patterns or some detuned elements in your tracks. There are both soft and heavier sounds. For some of them you could add some new sonic elements with the Modwheel like controlling the filter or the pitch of some oscillators.
Retro Sunrises is a compact soundbank for Cherry Audio CA2600 synth and consists of 20 retro sounding leads. Although the patches have some experimental elements deriving from the connections, I tried to make them musical in terms of performance. So, there are actually some weird sounding lead synths with all the characteristics that an ARP 2600 synth can give.
2600 Skies is a Cherry Audio CA2600 expansion with 54 classic monophonic synthesized sounds. Their character derives from classic “semi sound / semi effect” synth sound design from the past.
The character of this great emulation synth is in all of the presets here. From dark evolving atmospheric to synced madness and from resonant sonic journeys to classic distorted leads.
The soundbank fits for a variety of genres while creating cinematic atmospheric dimension is maybe the first thing that comes in my mind for the patches.
Moonleads consists of 50 vintage lead legato synths for Cherry Audio CA2600 synthesizer influenced by some famous musicians of 70’s and early 80’s. Most of them are fat in the low register of the keyboard, gritty in the middle register and singing in the higher one.
For almost all of them there are some crazy modulations manipulating the sound to add a pretty much experimental dimension to the sonic result.
They fit for progressive rock, sci-fi themed cinematic music and other experimental forms of musical expression.
Presets were designed with CA2600 1.4.0 (Build 104) and run best with this or newer edition
