They are recognized as one of the pioneering forces in the development of electronic music, and their influence can be heard in many genres today. Their soundscapes have been described as "aural wallpaper" and "sonic journeys" that take the listener on a journey through time and space. Tangerine Dream has released over 100 albums, ranging from experimental to symphonic progressive rock, ambient, and even film score compositions. Their sound has been used in numerous films, television shows, video games, and other media projects. And of course they are one of my favorite bands ever.
